During the global pandemic, DTRIC Insurance needed a way to communicate to agents and customers about COVID-related service updates, news and resources.

The Solution

Develop an integrated marketing campaign that puts creditable resources in front of customers, positioned DTRIC as a resource for educational materials, and encouraged everyone to stay safe.

Integrated Multi-Channel Execution

Seamless Distribution

Developed consistent messaging and creative across multiple distribution channels – agent newsletter, social media, website and consumer newsletter.

Strategic Planning

Worked closely with Marketing leadership to develop agent and consumer communications plan along with supporting digital distribution channels.

Creative tactics

Developed content to inform consumers, agents, and the public on safety tips, service updates, and company initiatives.

Comunity-focused Communications

Worked closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to produce various communications focused on supporting the community through philanthropic endeavors, activating employee action, and improving awareness of DTRIC’s corporate responsibility tactics.

Results

DTRIC offered a robust community service program that allowed employees to give back. In 2020, their focus was to support those impacted by COVID-19, virtually.

Employee and agency partner virtual food drive. Raised a total of $40,584 for food banks across the state.

Employees supporting local businesses. As local businesses struggle to survive, DTRIC equipped each employee with $150 to be spent in local businesses of their choice to help sustain the economy. Employees spent a total of $14K across 159 local businesses. Posted on social media and on the website. Read more.

Donations through DTRIC’s annual Hawaii’s Best Mocktails event. The proceeds from ticket sales were donated to the Kokua Ag & Culinary Fund, benefitting restaurant workers who have been furloughed or laid off. Read more.

Customer support through community partnerships. Partnered with Foodland to provide gift certificates as a thank you to our personal lines policyholders. Policyholders received a Foodland gift certificate based on their tenure with DTRIC.
